I have finished my essay on Rwanda/Burundi ! I decided to explore what caused the Genocide... I looked at state /Identity/Territory... The events that happened were horrendous and have been, by may people related to tribal warfare. However, I dont agree I do not think it was to do with tribal warfare or group hatred. I think that it is largely to do with the intervention by the west who used preferential treatment of tutsis over hutus, lack of land due to number of . inhabitants, and civil unrest i.e. a weak government. Was very interesting essay and has opened up my eyes to life in Rwanda/ Burundi.
