June is an important month for the people of Cusco. Every single day they hold a mass in the cathedral, set off hand made fireworks and then starts the processions. Both children and adults dress in traditional Inca clothing which consist of colourful woollen skirts and ponchos. When they dance they sing about Cusco and eave around wreaths of flowers. Many women also put flower wreaths on the heads of baby alpacas and carry the alpacas like swaddled babies. It has been really wonderful to watch!
