we went to ha long bay today and it is stunning! one fo the mopst beautiful places i have seen yet! just check out my photos (when i get chance to put them on....this internet cafe doesnt have a cd drive...it had no drives ha ha!) it was a very early start but picked us up at 730am! took over three hours to get there and it was roasting! my washing still wasnt ready although the hoste said t would be so i was wearing no uderwear my jeans and a top (same as yesterday) it was so hot thought i was going to diw from heat and sweat but nothing i could do! wont leave it that long till washing again! we had lunch on the boat which was this spectacular wooden boat, was beautiful. lunch was sea fod and veggie stuff so davis and i stuffed our faces but lynsey and janine just started at it ha ha! we visted the king dragon caves and then cruised around ha long bay all afternoon! was great! boat only had a few peple on it as it was low season so that was even better! we got talking to a bloke from england who had been in vang vieng at same time as us and he heard that a canadian had died from drugs and we wondered if it was the same one who got into a fight with the local at the bar we were at! havent heard any news or not but it was an unusual coincidence! saw a couple of crashes on way back from ha long bay. it just seems so normal here.....roads are very scary! Janine and i went to a wee eatery and stufed our faces for dinner. we got these very rich cakes and wish we hadnt i still feel sick thinking about it!!!! blah!
