Saturday, May 31st...
So today we had a free day to explore. Everyone branched into separate groups, I ended up with KeKe, Kristen, Kyle, Meghan, and Annie. We first went to the National Museum of Scotland. Got to see a lot of neat things. We saw the Orange Parade right after, we haven't been able to figure out what it is for but it almost seemed like it was a bunch of schools that all had bag pipes and drums and wind instruments. It was really neat. We went to the restaraunt Frankenstien when the parade ended. Lunch was good, and their hamburger is a bit different here. And apparently their standard for most restaraunts is well done, they usually don't cook it the way you would like to order it. After that, we went on The Edinburgh Dungeon Tour which was a 'scary' tour that kind of told you some of the historical events of Scotland. The characters where very entertaining. After that it was dinner/snack time, we ended up at the Garden Cafe and had some great food. We took a taxi to Calton's Hill afterwards which is home to this pillar structure that is a Scottish War Memorial. It was an amazing site...
