Emily set off to see her mum and Aunty Jane in Sydney, leaving Julie and Alyson to fend for ourselves. Mistake. We stayed in Brisbane for a few days, where we met up with Katie and Caspar. They told us about their exciting adventures and we bored them silly with exciting tales from Cracow. Whilst at the bus station meeting the dudes we found ANOTHER uni friend, the one and only ginger Steve accompanied by the beautiful Angela! We then spent a few days in the lap of luxury staying with Alyson's family on the Gold Coast. We were spoilt rotten with our own rooms with en suite and fabulous meals. We were also taken out for a cruise on the river, as we well as an adventurous ride to the shops on the buggy. We had a fab few days and didn't want to leave but we ventured on to Surfers Paradise. We didn't spend long in Surfers (and didn't see to much of it due to the mother of all hangovers meaning a day in bed being sick) but Alyson did manage to meet ANOTHER uni friend, welsh Karen, while walking down the street. Small World! Currently we are in Byron Bay and we love it!!!! Its a fantastic town with beautiful beaches, lots of surfers and good night life. Today we went body baording, which was wicked once we mastered the art and we only "accidently" hit one gorgeous surfer. A couple of days ago we had a little day trip to Nimbin, a place where it is legal to smoke cannabis. 'Nuff said. Good day had by all (i think). Our last bit of news is that we blagged ourselves some wicked jobs. We get to direct cars along a lane for five hours, oh joy! But we are directing them to the biggest music festival in Australia, which we get tickets for in return for working the morning. We are hoping for good weather so that we can top up the tan while working, although it has been raining today, uh oh!
