We arrived at Hong Kong straight away we noticed how clean the place was. The airport toiletsa were clean, no more smells of urine and clean floors. The customs were polite and friendly, no more dirt a grime, at least until we enter China. We got on the metro, clean smooth and air con, what a luxury. The difference between India and Hong Kong is massive. We needed a break from India, it has worn us down.
We met Jo at Central station and got whisked of in her VR6 to her house, how nice eas that. We whisjked down the motor way past the huge sky scrapers and massive tall blocks of flats. Never have i seen so many tall gleaming buildings. Supposedly like New York. That night got drunk on real wine on her rooftop in the pouring rain under a brolly. The house is set in lush green valley. How nice is it to stay in a house with all mod cons and clean bathroom and a SOFA. Its strange how you miss some home comforts very quickly. The following day we were whisked around to see the markets, the beach and eat some fabulous Thai food. It was so nice not to be eating Indian food, even though io love it. Hong Kong is so clean and polite. The buses are new and dont kick out tonnes of smoke and everything is very westernised. Keely and I were so pleased to arrive here. The next day we went to see the Big Budha by the ferry and saw a fantastic view of Hong Kong. We ate at another great resturant, Cru. Its is so nice to be shown round a place by a mate, it has been a real holiday to come here.
