Sorry I not seen your blog before, I have had a computer death here in Leeds! So now admiring your blog on my new HP! Very stressful, hate technology! Never mind!
Your trip looks amazing. I told you you would be fine on the trek! Bet Millie is glad she stayed at home though, too hilly for her liking! You have to see her point, whats the point in going against gravity, when you can succumb to it and just lie down! Far less effort! But less rewarding I bet, after all you must have see some amazing views. Hurry up and get the photos up so we can see them too! Big yey for the guy from Durham!
lots of love, 'little' Ali (in terms of age, I not calling you 'big' Ally in any other way honest!)

Hello Ali,
well the clocks went back today, so it is now dark when i leave my tutorials at 5:00pm....getting closer to the 3pm darkness we all love! When do you actually return to Glasgow? It is almost four weeks now isn't it? Well I had Ruth to stay last weekend which was ace...despite my bank account going into the red!
Harriet, I don't know if Ally does know about this message board...she did write on it ages ago didn't she? Hmmm.....we shall have to see.

Hello, guessing you didn't manage to sort the photos out then! Thought of you the other day- cycling across hampstead heath and see a dog running round in circles and woofing for no reason, runs out in front of my bike (didn't hit it though) and as i cycled away heard the owner shout 'millie you stupid dog'. wonder when i might have heard that phrase before! hope you're having a great time, my friend has asked if i want to go to south america with her this summer so i might be needing some advice on where to go. xxxx

How's things going? Won't be long until you are back with us now !!!!
Seriously though, I bet you are having a ball - not sure about the cold showers though. Remember to avoid any nasty tropical diseases as well.
Take care, Kevin

Hello Ally!
Have arrived at Gran's and all is well, we are off shopping in Newcastle later today and gardening tomorrow. Am missing you and Millie of course, thought you had been away longer than you had (is it really only two weeks). Have heard from Anne, she is having an amazing time surfing and diving everyday all day, says she's now thinking of staying out there for two years since it's so good. Maybe I should go join her, although I don't know if mum would think that a good idea.
Best wishes Ruth.
Janet And Millie
Everyone falling in love with Millie - even the cat is coming round! May be running out of small balls to throw soon, as some at bottom of Knapps loch. She is very fit but not walking on water yet.
Didn't realise that your ICU stints not being covered by locum -come back soon please.

Hi Ali
- only just found out about your off-exploring site, great to see you're having such a good time, can't believe you did that to your camera...! How's the spanish?
- Just doing my last week of Obs and Gynae HOORAHHHHHH I've been on placement in Reading and can't wait to be back in ox. Thos is mighty stressed/tired with the teaching- some of the kids are absolute nightmares and they're organising the school musical at the moment which takes up any spare hours not spent in the classrom.
- Hope the trip carries on being amazing- just starting to plan my elective at the moment so if you meet any friendly doctors in any beautiful places get their details so I can come and pester them for a month or two!
