Hi Everyone

With only 5 weeks to go until we begin our journey we thought it would be useful to test that the blog thing works and to let you kwow where we are going.

Our excellent adventure begins on the 5th October 2007 when we fly to New York. We plan on doing a brief tour of the east coast up to Niagra Falls and then across to Chicago. When we get to Chicago we plan on watching LA Galaxy against Chicago Fire, vistiting Fox River (thats one for you Prison Break Fans) and maybe taking in the ER!

After that its down south to the mighty Colleyville and along the Southern states, taking in Las Vegas and San Diago. We may take a brief trip north to watch the Nuggets (Denver Nuggets Basketball team) for wickston, who will no doubt be desperate after two months away from Sky Sports News, so we have to give him something!

The plan is to drive up the west coast of America to San Francisco where we will be flying to Ohau, Hawaii on the 19th December 2007. We are spending Christmas and New Year at Waikiki Beach, so expect pictures of us swimming on Christmas Day!

On the 1st January 2008 we fly to Fiji for a relaxing couple of weeks after the fun and frivolity of Hawaii. Also it's both of our birthdays when we are in Fiji so don't forget!!!!

Then its on to New Zealand for a couple of months where we will be touring the north and south island as well as visiting my cousins (Ali's) and wickstons relatives the Orks!

In or around April 2008 we travel to Melbourne for a tour up the east coast with a stop at Mr & Mrs McKelvey's in Sydney.

After Oz its on to South East Asia which is currently not planned very much. We know that we will be visiting Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia but which order and for how long is unknown. If you have any tips for us please let us know.

Come to think of it if you have any words of wisdom or tips about travelling or the countries we are visiting please let us know (Ali loves the Tips!!!!).

We will be returning to the UK at the end of July 2008 when we will be looking for food, shelter and a job!!!!

We will of course keep you updated along the way and will hope to see you to say bon voyage before we depart.
