Ali, pass along to Mike/Jocelyn that if they have the opportunity to visit Siena, Italy it is my favorite place. It is where they still have a horse race in the center of the town. July 2nd & August 16th each year. Each contrade/city ward
has their name & flag represented on the buildings as you walk through the area. They run 10 contrades out of 17 for the race around a dirt track, jockeys bareback in the center. There are also some quaint shops/eating places, too. I plan to attend one of these races someday!
