Don't worry about the hurricane. It's a long way off and I'm sure you will be looked after
Please can you give me the details of your car registration number : I need to book parking at Bristol International Airport and arrange a taxi for Sam.
Love you loads. Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi there - your camera
I have managed to secure an extension on your refund warrantee from 28 days to indefinitely (especially if you take it back to Bangor-they're waiting for you. Ask for a lady called Sarah) but if you're back in Bristol, Currys at Cribbs will accept it.
All you need is your post code LL57 4TL and the date 26th Aug 2008.
In the meantime, buy another out there - if you can - of a similar value and specification (I'll transfer some money into your account) when you tell me how much you need. You also need to e-mail me your account number that you want the money transferred to.
Love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hehehe not Jeff's birthday - his dad's!!
Jeff's is a day before Sam's
I'm so sorry that your camera has broken!! Want me to look into seeing whether you can get another and get reimbursed when you get back??
I'm sorry you got sun burnt - maybe you need a bigger factor.......
Last evening went very well. Lots of laughs. One of Jeff's brothers was there with his wife Pam and their two teenage sons Matthew and Craig. Dilly's seen them all before (actually played poker with them on the Thursday afternoons you were working) they get on like a house on fire. By the time we left it was 10:15 - and absolutely chucking it down. AND dark - it felt like November!!
Today we have sunshine after all night rain - so think yourself lucky!
We have just over a week to go before we trundle down to Penzance - yippee It's Porridge's last day at the Yate Scheme. Jeff's mum and dad are going over around 11 on Wedndesday to entertain her. We'll probably all then go up to the Mall (venue) and have all you can eat Chinese then go to the cinema to watch a movie - well that's the plan anyway.....
Tonight is relatively quiet: just a bit of washing to sort out and put all the diving kit in the garage to drip dry (it's not drying in the garden!). We're have fahitas for supper - yummy.
I've checked your ice cream place, nothing's posted at the moment, but it did show a HUGE bowl of icecream - I feel sick just looking at it
Hope you had a lovely day yesterday and that your raring to go today!!
Maybe more later, but now I have to get some work done.
We have sunshine at the moment but rain is forecast for later!
Pinch Punch (I can say that here now because it's before 12 - over here anyway!)
August went out exactly as it came in - WET! However, we had a great weekend down and Bovi. Dilly didn't do much, despite offers to pop out on this most wonderful RIB (it had a soft 'armchair' in the front!) It was white with blue inflatables and front chair, called Sea Horse. I knew the skipper from way back (Gerry) so it was good to catch up! We managed four dives, two on the James Eagan Layne, one on Mewstone Ledges and one on Hillsea. The viz was OK. I managed to get a few shots with the camara so that was good.
Saturday was fabulous: wall to wall blue skies! Sunday it was pouring down-although it was very warm. It dried up and and the sun made an appearance on and off during the afternoon. We got home around 7, sorted all the kit and washing then ordered indian takeaway. There was a good diving programme on TV which we caught the last half hour of, called Pacific Abyss. It was the last of a three parter. We watched the first one, but last week we were in Plymouth so missed it
Today Dilly has a 'wet and wild' day at her playscheme. Tonight we are all off over to Jeff's dad's for Chinese. It's his birthday.
Tomorrow (or at the weekend) we're thinking of doing something with Dilly (a surprise) but not sure what yet. We wondered whether she'd like a Chinese and a movie - the new Indiana sounds good.... but we'll see. She was very good - despite not getting involved in ANYTHING! She looks a little better today after her infection, but if her lethargy continues I might take her back to the doctors.
Loved your call on Saturday It was good to hear you happy and getting along fine!
Glad your teddies are back safe after their abduction I should hide them during the day.
Well I suppose I'd better get back to work.
Love ya!
Mum, Jeff and Porridge XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Hope you had a good night's sleep and that today you have some better weather.
It's pretty muggy here!
Looks as though we're diving after all!!! We're going to Plymouth (do you remember Fort Bovisand?) that's where we'll be. We need to make up for all the weekends that we've been unable to get in don't we
Hope you have no more mossy bites.....
Have a lovely and safe weekend
Lots of love from Mum, Jeff and Porridge xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

glad to hear you are OK!!
Fabulous blog. Love it already. Will it stay for posterity, or will it go down after a year or so?
It's overcast here - AGAIN - but having said that, it's very warm and there's no wind to speak of! Great! Makes a change! We're meant to have sunshine tomorrow - everyone is dubbing it our one day of summer!
Jeff and Porridge are well. P didn't go to the Yate play scheme yesterday, she met up with friends. Her kidney infection seems to have gone. Let's hope so!
Jeff finishes work at 3:30 this afternoon and he's promised to collect P at 4. She was thrilled:-)
I might suggest she gets her little tent out if she wants it.
We're going to make the most of our summer 'day' tomorrow. I might suggest we go out on our bikes and have a mexican in the garden.
Sunday looks like rain (despite the warm temperature), so we'll probably do some 'preparing for scilly' chores.
Sounds as though you are having losts of fun. Keep spraying up!! Foreign mossies can be pretty nasty!
Wow houses on stilts! Does anyone live in them now?
Is the sea clear?
Hope you get over your jet lag really quickly.
Have a smashing weekend. Don't worry if you don't hear from us over the weekend: I rarely fire up the pc at weekends (I get fed up of them after a week of working on them!)
