hello again from lurang prabang

we are not here for much longer as we are heading down south to Vang Viene to go tubing which should be fun. So yeah we have been white water rafting which we must say was EXCELLENT. All of us went and we had such a laugh, especially as me and sam tipped our canoe over on one of the rapids haha my fault apparently as sam kept saying 'paddle paddle' i froze so we tipped and the beers were on us. mind you we werent the only ones josie and suzi kept getting stuck on rocks bushes etc and braines and vicky were going down the rapids backwards. Swimming aswell was alot of fun and when we stopped for lunch on the riverbank...me and sam ended up having a mud fight which again everybody started to join in a big laugh. So rafting was sooooo much fun. Then the next day we went on a trek which was also really good, hard work climbing up the steep hills but we were so lucky it was a lush cool day otherwise it would have been torture. We started off in a local village, and got to see how loa people lived, very friendly but very cautious people. then we trekked for about 3 hours stopped for lunch, then went to this cave which was cool. Afterwards we went to look at some springs and to be honest it actually looked like paradise the clear water, lush green trees colourful flowers check out the pictures. But the best was the waterfall at the end...it was beautiful, and fantastic to go swimming in. unfortuantley sam forgot to bring his trunks but we are going to spend the day there tomorrow for braines birthday as he didnt go on the trek, so he'll get to go on the rope swings and jump in from the little waterfall, we'll put the pics up afterwards aswell. so today we are having a chill out day as our muscles are both aching off the trek, and poor sam has a bit of a dicky tummy. but we'll try to keep you updated as much as possible ok. By the way if anyone every gets the chance to come to Loas we would definatley recomend coming, it is defintley absolutley gorgeous i mean just check out the pics, but its not known as well as the other countries and we think it is a country in it own and love it!!!
