El Calafate, Argentina
Crystal blue glacier lakes, snow capped mountains and undulating hills were the views that greeted us on arrival to el calafete, the gateway to Argentine Patagonia.
We decided to go to Patagonia after a few travellers and blogs raved about it. Considering our lack of hiking experience (can you count PGL when I was 11?) we were a little nervous but very excited all the same.
