Wow, Ecuador now? You're certainly getting around the world. Sounds completely awesome.
In the middle of exams here at the moment... 3 down and 2 to go. Going reasonably so far, although it seems to be rather easy to be distracted at the moment. (Case in point right now, I guess... :P )
Anyway, looking forward to when they'll be over this time in 8 days. I was "lucky" enough to have an exam on the very last Saturday, so I'll be here right until the very end of June. Ah well, not all bad I guess - looking on the bright side, more time to study.
Once it's over I'll be back in Blenheim for the two week midyear break, and free from all study at last! (All my courses are half-semester ones.) Will be distinctly a relief to get back to simple vineyard work for a while.
We so have to catch up at some stage once you're back. Probably some time early next semester I guess - come over to the Hall sometime or whatever for a chat. Looking forward to seeing you again.
Have fun in the rest of your travels! :)
Adiós para ahora, mi amigo. (Admittedly I kind of cheated, I did have to check that!)
Spanish Expert
I understood that completely, didnt want to be rude and make the needed corrections... hehe just kidding. Its very impressive though, the amount that you wrote, no matter what it says hehe

Mum
wow, thats pretty impressive..
so you are off to the jungle this weeknd eh?
and yoru teacher is very good?
And you have stayed with Couchsurfers for 4 days?
Hope I am somewhere along the right lines with my guesses and its not actually a coded cry for help becuase you are being persued by some terrorist or something.
Assuming you are off for the weekend to the jungle ( which doesn't sound very Spanish?) , have a great time. I'm off sea kayaking with Lynnis folowed by going to that funny little theatre in Whangarei - remember the one, where you get served a meal by volunteers. ( Rachel said the friends I am going with will never speak to me again, but hey, I'll take the risk!)
enjoy week 2 of Spanish.
love

Nearly In Ecuador
Ray, I'll be back sooner than I know it! (That being 3 and a half weeks or so).
Rachy, YOU are jealous of ME? I am jealous of YOU more like it - I really want to see the concentration camps, not in a sick morbid kinda way but just because I think they'd be such an amazing learning experience and so thought-provoking! Good on you for going there ay.
Ray
Aaaaalice! Awww come backkkk!

How's your arm strength? Maybe you can do some arm wrestling in between exams to build up some muscles to try out with me our 2 new ( well second-hand actually) kayaks which I have just become the proud owner of... just need to get some paddles and life jackets and they'll be all set for yor return...
question is, what to call them - kate? kevin? Ken? suggestions welcome, but only beginning with K of course! ( sorry Rocky's owner).
Thinking of you as you conquer exams,

Oh really chaps? Right-e-o. Off to England soon, yeah? (You have to say those in a posh English accent to get the effect.)
So you went back to Amsterdam? How's Lara?
Rachy

hows my little sis? picked up bag finally, amsterdam was unfairly so much nicer in super sunny and warm weather!
please eat some cookie dough ice cream for me!
off to berlin tomorrow for week trip to random places and then off to London to practice speaking like the queen.
