Hello!

We enjoyed our walk along the boardwalk of Venice beach, where we ended up at Santa Monica. Caught the bus back home, which was quite an experience as its not exactly the safest place to be at night. It was fun working out where we had to go and we got to see some really interesting things becaus the bus system isnt really used by tourists, nor does it follow tourist routes. Weve found the people her so far extremely helpful. On three occassions, three seperate people have gone out of their way to show us where to go, or take us to our hostel.

Today we left Venice and arrived in Hollywood by the metro bus. The city is really edgy, but has a cool feel to it. There is something different to see or do at every corner. Our hostel is lovely, once again and we have some great dorm mates.. 2 german guys and 2 british guys.

Were stayng on Hollywood Bvd, which is awesome. Today we walked the entire length of it, taking in the sights of the graumans chinese theate, the walk of fame and all the other really common touris sites. All were really cool though, enjoyed it very much.

We tried to avoid getting sucked in to organised tours, but our limited time and the right price, after some damn good barganing (on chris end) got us a 2 hour tour in a strtch T model ford seeing the Hollywood sign, hills, rodeo drive, sunset bvd and strip, beverly hills and bel air. Was really good to see the wealthy neighbourhoods, and whilst chris is adamant we didnt go on a stars homes tour, we certainly did see a few of those on the way!!

LA is obsessed with money, dogs and cars, or being gangster. Have seen numerous ferraris and lambourghinis, pets in cars or on the handlebars of bikes, and one guy whose pants were so low we saw where his undies ended and his leg began... and w cant forget the bling.

Miss you all, but are having a good time so far!
