Amazing bus ride through the Alps to Villach. Sat in our cabin waiting to depart for Zagreb.

Leaving Venice on a double decker coach. There is air conditioning! Our tent in Venice was very hot, and the receptionists were very slow, so big queues. Good pool here though, full size and warm jacuzzis. En route to Villach, Austria, where we change to a train to Zagreb, Croatia.

We faffed our way through Venice today. Took the shuttle from campsite to bus station, where you take a monorail called the People Mover to near the Grand Canal. Went to get tickets to Croatia for tomorrow at the station, then realised we didn't have our Interrail tickets, and didn't know where they were. We had to take a bus back to the campsite where, thankfully, we found them in our tent. Got back into Venice, went to station, and were told by a disgruntled ti...

Arrived into Venice. Long bus trip and walk to campsite, and it's exactly the same as the last 2, back in the refugee tent again. There is a pool here though, and that's where we will be spending the rest of today. Tent isn't in the shade this time, so we may as well be staying in the campsite sauna. One thing we've already noticed about Venice so far is there are more lizards around. No birds yet though.
