Well I have been here nearly 3 weeks now and I'm absolutely loving it. I spent the first 4 days getting settled and the first 2 nights getting drunk. I then found a job working at the Royal Show in Claremont for a week as a carnie. I was running a fair game, with a hammer and you have to hit a button as hard as you can, which was easy, a good laugh and I earnt some good money. I then got a job straight after working on a hay farm carting hay from the fields to the shed as they call it out here (barn). Which was hard work but the family were really nice and everything was included; accomodation, 3 meals a day, internet, washing and a few beers in the evening. He even took us out on his farm to see wild kangeroos, one of which we ate on the last night. As well as catching some yabbies and taking us to the local town of Goomalling, 18km away. I was about 150km NE of Perth and it was nice to see some rural areas. I got from that saturday just gone, we came back throught the Swan valley wine region. And today I went humpback whale watching between Fremantle and Rottnest Island, which I am yet to visit. It was good fun, took some good photos. I also sorted out my white card and RSA. Tomorrow I have a days work as a labourer for a landscaper and we shall se what the rest of the week brings. But so far, I'm loving every minute!!
