So after a hard bus journey from Arequipa (as we were both feeling a little sick) we arrived in Puno bus station. The bus was 45 mns late so it was a relief to see the smiling face of our contact at the hotel still waiting for us! Altitude was really taking its toll now (I think we´d gone from around 2300m above sea level in Arequipa to around 3900m here) and we both felt extremely rotten. So bad infact that we went crashed out in bed by 9pm hoping to feel ...

So onto Peru... Flight from Bs As was very good... the best seat back tv I´ve seen (which was great after the 12 hour flight with AirFrance where there was no seat back tv at all)... and great views as we flew over northern Argentina and the Andes. While waiting in Lima for the connection to Arequipa we booked our hotel who organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport. First time ever I´ve had a man waiting for me in arrivals with my name on a boar...

Buenos Aires for the second time... and thankfully it turned out to be better than the first (no illness this time!)... Unfortunately, due to the cancelled flight from Bariloche, we arrived later than expected and couldn´t try for the tour at the Congress until the next day (this was the tour that we tried to do last time in Bs As but it was cancelled). So instead we had a quick rest, then went off and booked a Tango show for the following night and hea...

Arrived at Cordoba bus station at 7am. We stopped for a quick coffee and medialunas (croissants) in the station before finding somewhere to stay.
