well aren't i going bloggin' mental at the moment. i did need to catch up though. i can talk about the last few days in a bit more detail really (cos i can remember it well! haa)

we drove to 1770, which turned out to be a really quite s***ty boring town (it was sunday though..) HOWEVER!!!! we did some MOTOR BIKING!!! woo!!! it was so much fun1!! like on these cool half size harley/chopper bikes. only 110CC, but that was more than enough for us seen as we'd never done it before. three hours of riding around 1770 and the countryside around it, awesome! we got up to about 55mph at on point!!! i know, dangerous much? but it was sweeet as! i can't really express how coool it was! it was only $50 (25quid) as well! how good is that!?

that night us three and ben decided for some beans/spaghetti on toast, and it took us a good 20 mins to open both cans as the hostels can openers were all s***!!! we eventually ate though and sat about talking with some people and had an early night.

the next day we drove to the cattle station at kroombit! stopping off here and there. the cattle station was awesome. got off the bus and had a huge steak for lunch. checked in and we went to the pool. us four pissed about a bit then played some pool rugby which completely knackered me out (my fitness is shot now). then we did some clay pigeon shotting which f***ing ruled! i hit 3 out of 5 clays and i've never shot a gun before! we did some goat rodeoing after that in teams of four. richard decided he was the goat catcher and he turned out to be s*** at it. so we lost! hahaha

that night we had some roast BEEF!!!! (charles and richard are still adamant it was lamb, but they're bellends) and then we started drinking. we dressed up to, complete random, like whatever they had in these boxes. i won a bottle of sparkling wine for being best dressed!! so i had a cheap night!! lol we also had a mechanical bull which i came second in. i got 22 bucks, apparently someone got more than me, but i think thats a load of bull! hahaa

we generally messed about all night and were the last up (ricky and ben were messing around with some animals till 1 ish). the next morning we left at seven and us four managed to nab the front seats again (a plus not only because the engine at the back was f***ing loud [which turned out to be because the exhaust had come loose from the engine] and later one the aircon at the back broke! haha). we had a 10 hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! drive to look forward to before we got to airlie beach. leaving at 7 we were ment to arrive at 5. however!!! at one of our stops our driver called up the office and they told him to go to a garage and get the van patched up and the garage guys told him that it would be a bit more than patching up! so we had to sit in this mall where most the shops weren't even open yet (it was like half 8). we were there for a good while and then we managed to go lawn bowling at a club up the road (we were ment to do it further along our marathon drive that afternoon but squatter thought we might as well get it out the way). it was surprisingly fun i have to say! us four won (best of three). all came down to a killer (and powerful) shot by ricky at the end which knocked two of our opponents closest balls miles off and left his about half a foot from the jack. the last throw of the game near enough. we got going again about 2 and a half hours later and had different peoples iPods on and watched 3 films after lunch; Crocodile Dundee, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, and Wolf Creek (which was a backpacker murder horror! hhaa). i really enjoyed priscilla, a film about three cross dressing dancers travelling across australia.

we drove into airlie beach at about half 8, checked in and went down to the bar for some free beer and potoato wedges (the bar manager felt sorry for us). had a few beers and wrote the previous blog!

SOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here i am! completely up to date. i am sitting in the reception at Beachs Backapckers next to the lads. we are waiting till 2pm till we can board our boat (Broomstick) to go sailing in the whitsundays for two days. GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!

on a s*** note, my camera has f***ing gone and broken again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!! only f***ing bought it in Wellington. its got warrenty though so i should be able to do something abouit it in cairns.
