so i haven't done a blog in a good long while and i might do several rather than cramming everything into one long one just cos i don't have time and i can't be arsed much either.
so like franz josef was last i think? i can't remember where we went after that but our last night there we all got very very drunk and only just made the bus in the morning (me and ricky thought seen as we got back at like 4am and the bus was at 7.30 we'd just stay up, but that didn't stick so we just slept anyway), it was one fun bus journey i can tell you, but i can't tell you where we went! haha.
Wanaka is the next stop i can remember (i might be the next direct one, or we may've stopped somewhere inbetween). its a very nice small town on the edge of a glacier (i think) lake, so very cold water. we had an awesome (and cheap) BBQ for dinner, but we didn't stay up late. then we left for QUEENSTOWN!!! wooo!!! stopping off at a few places along the way for food/views etc. i got quite bored of taking pictures of lakes, even though they were amazing looking!
we got to Queenstown at about half 1 in the afternoon and had a group photo of our bus lot which was fun (human pyramid which i was at the bottom of for some reason). we booked into our hostel and walked about the town a bit. we paid for our bungy and canyon swings. i had a bit of a nap after that and then!!!!!
THE PNUEMONIA BEGINS!!! haaa (i can sorta laugh now i guess)
8pm, me lying on my bed in slight pain on the left side of my chest. this pain got progessively worse and worse dispite me having taken some ibprofin (spelling much!?) the pain was f***ing awful and i was finding it hard to breath like deep. ricky charles and lasse helped me down to the lobby and ricky called and abulance. i was in a f***ing state about then, so bad like. the ambulance came and they like talked me about what i was feeling and used a really really technical (not) scale for pain "out of 10, how bad is it?" "f***ing 10!" (i don;'t think i said that, i can't remember). anyway they gave me an oxygen mask and morphine (wooo!!!!) and stuff. charles came with me to hospital in the ambulance (only one other person could fit) i had two more shots of morphine on the way to hospital which is always nice. once in hospital they sorta gave me pills and stuff and an oral shot of morphine which was weird. charles gave them my insurance form and they sorted all that out luckily, some agreement which ment i didn't have to pay a cent!! weey! i had an Xray which showed nothing and they put me in bed. i had more pills and in the night some more morphine and IV antibiotics. they discharged me in the morning and gave me a presciption of antibiotics that i needed to pick up.
and i shall leave it there for now!!! The Pnuemonia Chronicals shall be continued soon...
hahaha
laters.
