Chiang Mai- Pai

Woke up at 7 o'clock in order to rent 2 motorbikes (one for Meli and one for Carla and myself). Renting de motorbikes took us more than expected as the barter wasn't as easy this time. We needed to make sure we got not only a good price but also a good one that would make it to Pai and back!
It took us 4.5h 762 curves and 129km o finally get to Pai. In my opinion not a great experience since I've never loved motorbikes but Meli and Carla loved it. The first thing we did was have lunch and search for a hostel. It has never taken us so long to find a hostel, they were all FULL or in a real bad state. We finally found a bungalow with a double bed which we had to share between three of us for 500 Bath (12,5€) which was a little but out of our budget. Up to now the maximum we have paied for a room was 450 Bath but we had been travelling all day, the backpack where really heavy and we had caught too much sun so weren't feeling too well. Left the bags at about 22:00h and went straight out for some food and a bottle of Chang (thai beer). Must say that I'm not really a beer person but Chang is not too strong and quite refreshing.
We were really tired so decided to have an early night when we got to the room we realised the night was still not over. There was a huge spider waiting for us ib the room!!!!! I've never ever ever seen something like that! I was petrified and jumped straight on the bed, i wasn't getting down untill the spider was out! The owner from the bungalow had to come over and help us!! How embarrasing!
Put the antimosqito net on the bed and hid in there till the next morning!
