After about 8 hours on a bus, we're finally in Switzerland! In Europe, you never rush, apparently, so we probably could have done the drive in about 4 hours, but it took all day.
We had a rather unimpressive breakfast at the hotel in Germany, and then loaded the bus for Switzerland. We stopped inside the border for lunch at the most glamorous Burger King I've ever had the pleasure to be in. Burger King is huge over here, like McDonald's is in Australia.
After lunch, we headed across the border to Switzerland. This place had the most amazing scenery I think I've ever seen. It's amazing.
We're staying in Novotel Lausanne Bussigny, which is a beautiful hotel. It's about half an hour outside of Montreux, just near Luasanne.
We had a little bit of time in Montreux this afternoon, and it was amazing! We're spending all day there tomorrow.
