Set off from Franz for a days driving down to Queenstown, stopped at some cool photo places includuing Thunder Creek waterfall, Ship Creek and Knights Point. Also went to the first ever bungy site just outside Queens called Kawurua Bridge. Watched a few people jump and signed up to do the Nevis tomorrow!!! The mums are not going to be happy!!!! Today we caught the Magic bus to Franz Josef, stopped off in a little town for supplies and then went to a place called Ross, an old Gold mining town. Arrived in Franz in time to do the half day Glacier walk. WHAT WERE WE THINKING????!! First they deck you out in all the gear including boots which weigh you down just a little then they get you to trample over some very rocky ground where the Glacier used to be, to get to the edge of the thing.
