Day 17 was a bit more chilled out doing some farm work with Hugh collecting Pea Straw bales from one of his paddocks, and then in the evening we headed over to Rod & Chris's to go Wombat hunting, not to kill them but to try and see one to photograph it but this time luck wasn't on our side!
On the morning of Day 18 we went to Maitland Market and had a quick snack and a drink there before heading to the bottom end as it's called which is the Southern part of York Peninsula, we drove to Ardrossan, Black Point (Millionaire Avenue), Stansbury, Yorketown, Warooka, Point Turton, Minlaton. That evening we then went onto the pub in Maitland for a meal and I had the steak which was very tender and had a lovely gravy on top which along with free salad tasted very nice, after we finished dinner we went to look for some Christmas lights as Hugh and I had spotted some on a previous trip to Maitland.
Day 19 consisted of collecting more bales from the paddock and stacking them up in the shed, we had a big setup going on with mum driving the ute, Hugh with the Colorado and trailer and then me in the Pajero and the car trailer all stacked to the roof tops. After that was done I went back into the workshop to finish off my woodwork projects which I have been working on since I got to Weetulta.
