On February 1st 2013, I - the "Bread King" - stack my final loaf onto a Waitrose shelf, don my backpack and take on a tour of Southeast Asia and the Subcontinent that will be in total contrast to the preceding 5 months of toil. I've worked silly hours and dragged myself out of bed sickeningly early to earn what I hope will be the best 6 months of my life.

Travelling through at least 8 countries with all my worldly possessions on my back, I will be keeping everyone updated back at home through updates selected from my journal, and photos that will do some justice to the sort of unimaginable places I'll be visiting.

Expect a "no holds barred" attitude, plenty of cock-ups and the odd moment of pure joy.
