Wake up at 6ish, breakfast and set of on a walk in the park up a mountain called "Angel's Landing". It's a normal steep walk for the first 2 miles and takes us about 45 minutes to get to that point but the final 0.5 miles is across a narrow sandstone ridge. So anchored support chains are attached along some sections of the sheer fin.Admittedly my heart was beating faster than usual, but all worth it when rch the top, just incredible. After a little break we venture down & get the shuttle to the top end of the park & walk the "riverwalk" along the narrows and it quite litterally was a riverwalk!! We walk about 0.5 miles along a path and the the cliff sides narrow, hence the name., The only way to carry on is to waid through the river. We do this, sometimes up to our waist at points, but head back after 30-45 minutes. Get back to camp where we have a burger from burger shack, walk to the library for a bit of research for L.A & then me, Jack, Facu & Nigel hire out inflatable tyre rings and float down the Virgin river for 2 miles which takes about 1hour 25minutes. Get back to camp where dinner is prepared. Last meal that will be cooked on this trip :(. Some of the group go to a bar, while the others stay round camp fire, heat some marshmellows and I have an earlyish night whilst the others stay up for a few hours.
