The Pisseridoo
What an interesting device. I was always intrigued by the women needing devices to take a pee standing up like males do. Well we have a device on board which has been aptly named the 'pisseridoo'. The pisseridoo is a length of PVC-U sanitary plumbing waste pipe which you insert your you-know-what (plumbing) to enable you to take a pee over the side without drips or spray hiting you and others or the decks...especially when the width of the boats combing exceeds the users length.
There is also the executive model (extra long) for those times you cant leave the helm e.g. storms and extreem cold conditions i.e. when you are below 43 degrees latitude.
Yep...you can poke the pisseridoo through a gap in the doorway and hang the pisseridoo over the side while you are at the helm!
I here some of you guys out there saying there's no way I'm going to put my plumbing where someone else has.
Our pisseridoo has a modification....I drilled a hole in the socket end of the pisseridoo to fit a lenght of nylon cord using bowline (for you yachties). A loop is also created using a bowline at the other end of the cord creating a handle which allows you to drop the pisseridoo over the side into the ocean trail behind in the bubling waters created by the boat thus cleansing it of any foreign matter and making it ready for the next use.
Some of the fellas aboard appear to look rather proud when using the pisseridoo (extention)

Judy We have the patent on the pisseridoo (actually it's a didgerweedoo) - Ka Mate has been sporting one for a couple of years now......haven't come up with a design for the female crew...namely me and Rosie!! Judy
Sue Well I am a bit pisseridooed off cos I thought you guys were tough and hardy, and no matter what the atrocious conditions were, would go outside without a second thought and do your thing without man-made aids:-) To avoid that nasty spray just go to different sides of the boat. Have you thought about how you would explain to A&E staff how you came to have your 'thingy' stuck up a piece of PVC-U tubing, but I would love to be there should it ever happen :-) Hope when you wash it, a crab is not left lurking in there for the next user ... ouch!!!!
Judy Wilson Now you'll have worried them Sue.............a lurking crab!!!! It doesn't bear thinking about!!!!
