Day 32: Friday 18th March (By AJ)

Bangkok.

Arrived back in Bangkok early this morning and had a group breakfast of waffles and fruitsalad :) Got to the best hotel room EVER! and after showering and unpacking we all got the boat to Koa San Road, which gave a great view of the river bank despite the cloudy sky. Chris and I then got a random tuk-tuk tour and visited the standing Budha, Golden mountain, Reclining Budha, a lucky tower (and a few random Thailand suit showrooms - so the driver could get a free gasoline stamp!) However, our driver ended up ditching us at the last Budha, as clearly our 2 pence wasn't worth his while to wait now he had his gasoline stamps! We ended up having a lovely walk back to Koa San Road though and put our cheeky 2 pence saving towards a foot massage!

That evening we met the gang at a riverside restaurant for our last meal together and then had drinks on Koa San Road ... as well as a few pancakes!

Day 33: Saturday 19th March

Day in Bangkok then overnight bus/boat to Koh Tao.

Had a great day on Koa San Road today, shopping, eating and chilling in the cafe bars. Then that evening we got the overnight bus, followed by a boat to Koh Toa Island... turned out to be the worst journey ever as the "bus company" were professional theives and managed to steal our money from our hand-luggage! Not the best start to the Island trip! We both felt completely violated at first, but now realise we were lucky that they just took money - and can advise to everyone to never book the private bus/boat trips through the companys along Koh San Road! Although it may seem scarier, always get the public local buses.

... Anyway after travelling for over 24 hours, we arrived at the beautiful sunny island, Koh Toa :)
