tridents world tour
i am feeling very, very unmotivated to write this, but uncle al requested it and since he's basically jesus, i felt i should comply.
plus maddy was calling me a dinkwad for not having contributed on the last entry.
it made me feel less good. (that is an inside joke between the 3 people on the other end of the computer. sorry everyone.)
we braved the high seas, made it across the desert, and now we've also survived the jungle. we spent 3 days in cape tribulation (so called cause captain cook ran into the reef while discovering it and got his panties in a twist) and it was relaxing. we stayed in a cool hostel that was in the middle of the jungle. you'd step outside and it was like your skin and sinuses were being filled with damp cotton wool - very humid. maddy almost got attacked by a dingo (i still maintain it was a cane toad or maybe a wombat) and was briefly traumatised.
we had to wander along rainforest boardwalks just to get to the grocery store. i felt like mowgli, with conditioned hair. um... what else... we made collages one morning. that's about it.
now we're just killin' time waiting for our taxi to take us to the airport. then off to bangkok.
we're in sydney right now, which has become our pit stop. maddy is currently tryingto think of a joke involving armpits, but it's just not happening. she's saying she's coming off as a complete loser and wants me to say something incriminating about aja. um.. aja's quietly packing. god she's a bad influence.
ps: we are domestic goddesses and made a really good dinner for our hosts in sydney. too bad y'all missed out on that one.
good enough, eh. this should keep em quiet for a couple weeks.
peace out.
