Kontanz (Laura's previous place of study)

I just spent two days with my aunt and uncle-I-just-met! They are so delightful! Uncle Peter and I had much in common about planes since he used to fly a Piper Challenger and I had done for mech 390 the design of the piper arrow brakes.

In short:
- Went to the beginning of the reign river
- crossed into Switzerland, could see Austria. Stood on borderline of Germany/Switzerland. I like Germany better.
- saw a castle
- Saw hilltop with crosses from 100s of years ago
- Watched Italy beat England
- saw a bigger castle
- ate yesterday at Laura's fav Italian restaurant

Uncle is like me, very optimistic and talkative and was a teacher! Shared a "riddle" with me about the sun. I can see where Laura gets her eagerness to explore and learn, just like her dad. Together tita and uncle are quite the adventurers! They have a hippie bus haha they use travel in.

I stayed long enough to enjoy and miss my European family but at least not enough that is hurts :/
They were great! I told tita Luz that Laura should get an SLR and we should do a photography trip in South America!

Now Berlin for a few hours then Budapest!
