Planning :)
Manchester, UK
Hey,
So after months of saying I'm going to go inter-railing I've actually started getting organised and booked a flight to Madird for the 18th of June. ( £10.99!!!!!) Getting properly excited now. Saved enough money for my ticket and working as much overtime as possible to save lots of money!! Decided to set up a blog to keep track of what I'm doing now and when I actually get out there so people know I'm still alive ;). ( * definitley not to avoid criminal law revision....*)
So to do list -
book ticket ( pretty important..)
book flight/ferry/whatever to come home :(
book hostels for first few nights.
Stop spending money and start properly saving!!
Buy a bag and some proper shoes ( sorry converse!)
& then actually go. Plan so far- Madrid-Barcelona- Rome-Naples-Florence-Llubijana- Vienna-Krakow- Prague-Berlin-Amsterdam. But only certain up to Italy could change after that.
Going to call in STA next week and get some insurance booklets and a form for an ISIC card to save me £££!
:) x

Archibishop For travel in the UK, it's prbbaoly a Young Person's Railcard you want. a320 from any railways station. Many European countries have similar deals (such as the Carte 12-25 in France).Traveling abroad is trickier. Interrail tickets can be good value if you know what you're doing and plan ahead.
