This week wasn't really going to be that much of a camper week as we had both a tour of Fraser Island and the Whitsunday islands to do. Anyway we started early (4.30am) in the camper and left the best rest stop we'd been to so far at 5am. Harry's maths wasn't quite right and we ended up being an hour early for the dolphins!! We landed at 11pm on Thursday 4th july, so just got the bus then walked straight to our hostel and into bed. In the morning I'd set my alarm to wake us up in time to have the free breakfast then go on the free three hour walking tour of the city. Bright and early Monday morning we left franz josef heading towards wanaka. The first stop was at lake matheson, with the sun just rising the views were amazing. We decided to do the longer walk all the way around the lake. The reflection of the mountains in the lake was perfect, so we took loads of photos which looked just like postcards!
