I arrived at the castle and my heart dropped to my feet because I knew the days were approaching of the challenge. I try not to think about it too hard but I have no choice but to do so. The castle was huge, I walked to the drawbridge and across to reach the doors of the castle. They flew open and I was greeted by a porter. I needed shelter, so I spoke and said " I am Sir Gawain, a knight of King Arthur. I am on a quest and I pray you will grant me entrance for shelter. May you tell the Lord of the that I am a knight on a quest and need shelter." (Pg. 88) He smiled and kindly let me pass through. The nice squires took my horse and led him to the stables and fed him. The lord of the castle greeted me with such kindness and said I may stay as long as I needed. I thanked him for his hospitality.
