We got out suitcases yesterday and really started packing the rest of Dad's stuff. This is where it begins to get more emotional. It was tough for Dad because he's been in Africa 39 years. We still have much more to do, so pray we are able to get it all done and Dad doesn't get too stressed. Thus far his bp is doing well.
Today, we are going up to the tea farm. It's not the greatest day for it as it is overcast, but I think I will still enjoy it. They take you on a tour and give a lecture about tea which should be interesting. Then, there's a big lunch where everything is homegrown.
We probably won't get back till late as we are stopping by to see some other friends of Dad's on the way back. Tonight, we are moving to the Mission Guesthouse so that we can clean his place well tomorrow. It's coming down to it. Just a couple more days and we will be Stateside.
I'm really glad I got to come both for the relaxing time I was able to get and because I know Dad is grateful to have someone to travel home with.
I didn't get to write a day by day of my adventures, but you will get to hear stories when I get back. I have taken pictures. I got the most awesome picture of a lion.
