hello!! I'm just about to leave magnetic island...its been so nice here, and managed to get a tan at last! The hostel we've been in is the only one in oz thats on the beach - its so cool to walk out the bar with a beer and straight onto the beach! kinda gutted im leaving as there's a full moon party on friday - basically an excuse to stay up all night drinking but sounds fun! tan probably doesnt compare to any of yours back home with the hot weather you've been having, and it is winter here!! Yesterday we hired two mokes between 8 of us and drove around the island! they were so cool, about half the size of a normal car, no doors or roof!! went to the north side of the island, about a 5 min drive, and went tubing! (where you sit in a rubber ring and get dragged round by a speed boat at about 70 kph!!) it was so cool, but couldnt see anything cos of the sea water in my eyes...awesome! went out for chinese last night and now heading up to Mission Beach to do a skydive hopefully! then on to cairns and then to Coffs Harbour to see my family!! nearly over now...its gone so quick, but still cant remember what i've done!! cant wait to see you all in a month...adam
