hey hey! so, gonna try and get back into the swing of things and actually tell you what i've been doing! so left Byron bay yesterday morning - it was amazing, so laid back, and the beaches were amazing! saw the most easterly point of oz, and watched the sunset across the bay! was very tempted to grab a surf board and jump in but way too much effort! after leaving Byron, we headed up to Nimbin - a town based around marijuana, hash etc! was very scary walking around and people just randomly offering you this and some cookies!!! Went to the Nimbin candle factory, before going to the border of NSW and Queensland - Danger point - before driving up to Surfers Paradise! that was cool, quite nice but very busy! from there we carried on up to a Zorbing venue! It was amazing! (its when you get put in a MASSIVE plastic ball and pushed down the hill - flying all over the place, and slipping upside down!! even got ran over by one of them!!) Arrived in Brisbane and met up with loads of people i met on the bus from sydney! Today went to Steve Irwins Australia Zoo, held a koala, and had a right laugh - a bit of an incident leaving tho - just ask me about the bus when i see you cos theres way too much to write!! Leave here on Tuesday with quite a few mates to head up to Fraser island (the biggest sand island in the world) and then on to Airlie Beach for the Whitsunday islands!! going so well, and so quick - having an amazing time, if you want to check out the night water rafting photos, and some of the drinking games we played at Barrington - go to www.barringtonriverbackpackers.com and click on daily photos, then on the 17th july! it was awesome - and i didnt even fall out!
