I just spent a week in Naples for a conference. That was not the most fun I've ever had, but who can complain it took me to Naples and someone else paid for it! I managed to get out a bit to hit highlights of Naples. I took some extra time off and stayed around 2 extra days to catch up on my anthropology/archeology and visit Rome. One of the best things about working at NATO is there are 26 different countries there which means 26 different cultures I get to learn about. Some only have 1 or 2 people and some have many more. The Americans, Germans, and British dominate this base. Tom and I have made good friends with a few of the German crowd and yes we generally refer to them by their country ie "The Germans are coming over tonight." Hey! Nothing real exciting today, but I did move to my place on Friday. I attached a few videos of the "walkthrough" of my place. I moved in on Friday, but ditched on Sat and went sailing again. I know!!! I've spent a good part of today unpacking and arranging where I want things to go. I think more than anything I've just made a list of what I need to buy!

Hey everybody! I met a few people a week or so ago who were avid sailors (non military type *wink*) and they invited me to go with them. It has been about 10 years since I have really been sailing. I did a 10 day sail around the Bahama's... good times! A lot fades in 10 years, but after about an hour I was comfortable again. We were out for 5 hours and it was beautiful!
