I got back from 4 days in Dublin with my friend Kim. It was great to see her! I worked with her on the ship and she was my roommate onboard (aka partner in crime) she moved to Sicily in August. We spent a lot of time just seeing the sights and enjoying lots of Irish food... sooooo good. Of course, we couldnt pass up the chance to get some yummy sushi either so overindulged at a Japanese /Chinese place one night (Lisbon has no good sushi *sad*) Both champions at seeing the most in the least amount of time I think we saw everything we could possibly see and do in Dublin. I know I am exhausted! The 330 wake up call this morning came wayyy to early. Talk has now began for our next trip in Sept to Eastern Europe. Germany, Poland, Vienna... who knows where else. Yeah!
We made our way to an Irish pub and listened to some traditional music, did the touristy bus hop-on hop-off, which I actually do recommend, and met some cool people. Irish folk are extremely nice. Any time Kim and I had a map out someone stopped to ask if they could help us... we looked lost a lot... We also made a decision or two using the ancient game of paper-rock-scissors but it all worked out and we had a great time.
