Picka boo!
We are in Ireland! So we got up early to get the ferry from Troon to Larne. The Ferry reminded me when I was a child in New Zealand with multilayers of cars then the upstairs food/pub area. Boy the Irish can drink! There was a father/ son combo sitting near near me and I counted 9 pints each over a 2 hr period! The sea was calm and the weather was sunny about 12 degs but a cool windchill again!
So we headed north along the coast from Larne along the A2 all the way up to the giant causeway ( as pictured) we did stop for lunch at a tearoom. So the giant causeway is lots of hexagonal shaped rocks shaped when cooled from the lava. The sun way out and it was hot and of course I got burnt! It's was a lovely walk down and along the coast and great colours.
We then headed south down the M2 via Belfast south and across the boarder. Then the miles per hr turned back to km per hr! My brain was very confused this arvo driving. But along the motorway we could drive up to 120 kphr!
Our hotel is lovely and the beer is cold! I had a lovely chicken burger and a pint of Budweiser.
Our phones have coverage but no data until we head back to the mainland/ uk so I'm relying on wifi at the moment for the next few days. So if you don't read anything you know why but I'll upload posts when I have a connection!
Have fun!
