Brewers Win! Brewers Win! It was a late Friday night when we found ourselves huddled over the iPad in a dark and smoke filled "reggae bar" (that played no reggae but had free WI-FI) streaming the audio feed of the 5th and decisive game of the NLDS between the Brew Crew and the D-Backs. We had an ear bud each in one ear and sipped our 24 crown beer and wine ($1.25, if you're counting) and listened to Bob Uecker's classic baseball voice call the game...and we were happy as could be; even though our lungs took a beating from the heavy smoking Czechs that shared the bar with us. Eventually, at 2am, the bar closed and, as we have no WI-FI at our accommodation, we wandered into the night in search of a poachable connection. Look no further then the Golden Arches of McDonalds; glistening in the dark, wet Prague night. CLOSED! Damn. Oh well; the outside Playland tables were pretty much covered, and we could connect to their Internet. And it was here, at the Playland, huddled in our rain jackets, sipping gas station bought beer and eating a bag of Czech's version of Dorito's (there were no Combos or David Sunflower seeds unfortunately) that we listened to the Brewer's blow a 9th inning lead, and then come back to win it in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the 10th. Though we looked rather pathetic jumping around in celebration at 3:30 a.m outside of a closed Mickey D's, to us it seemed rather perfect!! Go Crew!
