So, after returning from the jungle we found that the roads and border were still blocked so we were stuck in Cusco until today, when we were able to catch a flight to La Paz, Bolivia, which is what we are waiting for now.
As we were stuck in Cusco we decided to take it easy and have a relaxing few days, then it got a bit boring so we decided to go quad biking instead so six of us headed off out to the mountains around Cusco armed with a quad bike each and attacked the farmlands of the mountains. It was pretty awesome to drive through the small villages and farms in the area and the views over Cusco were pretty amazing. As it is now the dry season the roads are really dusty so unless your the first in the line you get totally covered in dust, which is pretty funny but makes it really hard to see which direction your are supposed to be going, but all part of the fun.
Yesterday we chilled out once again just looking around the markets in Cusco, which are everywhere, and declining the offers of products from street vendors and massage parlours, which again are everywhere.
Today 6 of us are flying to La Paz and tomorrow the rest of the group will join us, as the border is blocked off we couldnt all get on one flight but im glad to be getting to a different country today. As much as I love Peru I am ready to experience a different place, and it makes it easier that Bolivia is even cheaper than Peru!
