So I made it to Mozambique-can't say thier border crossing is the easiest in the world-but we got through. After 7ish hours on a bus we arrived in Maputu-a typical East African capital city-run down but full of character. My first stay thier left me no time to explore, as it was off to Tofo, 7 hours up the coast, on a bus at 5am the next morning.

The second stay there was much nicer.From my hostel, the base, I managed to explore some of the old and newer bits of the city-it's a very easy city to walk around. I visited the old Fort, port area and met up with some friends from Tofo, which ended up in us having a drink or two at the Club Naval, a very colonial Yatch Club on the edge of the city limits...very nice but felt slightly uncomfortable being there, still, it was a good end to my holiday. At 7am the next morning, back on a bus to Johannesberg!
