I was up and packed and ready to go by 9am, even though I didn't have to "check out" by 11 and didn't have to leave for the airport until around midday.

It was raining (again!) but I still went for a walk as planned. I walked about 10 minutes up the road to the main drag and there was shops up there. I grabbed some breaky at Starbucks, (only because there was no Tim Horton!) and wandered the strip a bit. I headed back around 11.30am to change into my flight outfit, and used the hair dryer to dry out my sneakers!

My taxi driver was very chatty and it was only about a 15 minute trip which was nice.

I was there heaps early, so had a lot of hanging around time until my 4.25pm takeoff.

The 3hr flight to LA was uneventful but it was nice to have the window seat.

Thankfully my bags went direct to Sydney so I didn't have to collect and recheck them from Westjet to Virgin.

More time to kill, about 3hrs before boarding my long haul flight home.

The flight was, well, a long flight! Restless napping, eating weird meals at weird times. No Monday for me...I landed on Tuesday morning!

USA/CANADA 2015 all over! I had an awesome time and met some cool people from all over the world...happy memories!
