Straight up to the top of the "Menara KL" (communications tower) for a birds-eye view over the city, a few malls, then wandered through all the parks and stuff. It seems to be encouraged to do as little as possible at all times here, which is what I do best! All the parks have these wooden pagoda-like things, there for people to just go and lie down in for hours on end! I thought it rude not to participate.
The hostel I'm in now is in the middle of chinatown (pic opposite), on a road exactly like Koh San Road in Bangkok - ie. crammed with hawker stalls selling "fine kwality items" at prices that are "cheep cheep"! So naturally I have picked myself up a pair of authentic Police shades for the bargain price of three pounds 50! How do they do it?
Still not spoken to a single traveller person though. So far no-one has had the good fortune to land the same dorm room as me. Nevertheless I am off now to foreigner pub centrale, Bangsar Baru, to rectify this situation.
Selamat Jalan!
