6/12/08-7/12/08: Finally after a 13hr train ride and a bumpy bus ride we arrive at beautiful Pololem. A long stretch of white sand and a calm blue ocean. Hundreds of quirky little shacks line the beach, most without windows and with only the basics (bed, shower, toilet). The beach is very pretty, full of hippies and a few beach parties. A stroll over to the next beach reassures us that as much as Pololem is lovely, one night was enough and it was time to make a change to a quieter location.
