Its just 1 week to go until I leave for a whole year in India! This time next week I will be in Abu Dhabi airport waiting for my connecting flight to Hyderabad, which lands at 3:25am India time, where along with the other India volunteers I will be met by our Overseas Rep, Bharavi.

If you're reading this then most of you will probably already know all about me...but if not here's a little introduction. My name is Abi Collard, I'm 18 and I live in Norfolk, not far from Norwich. I've just finished studying my A Levels at Wymondham College, and after I get back from my year in India will be studying biology at Sheffield University. But before that I will be spending 12 months in India as a volunteer english teacher with the non-profit organisation Project Trust.
