Up at 4am to go to Kings Canyon, a 3hr drive away. We started the walk at 9.15am & it was 29C at the bottom, we then headed up cardiac hill, which was 500 severe steps up the side of the rim. We then walked round the rim, a total of 3hr walk, then we stopped for lunch at Kings Canyon Resort before starting the drive home. En Route we checked out Mount Connor, looks like Uluru but is a table top mountain.

After sunrise to looked round the cultural centre, the joined a short guided tour of a couple of the gorges. Then we set out on the base walk, which seem to go on forever. We're heading back again this evening for sunset.
