28 Degrees 98% Humidity Went to 10,000 Buddhas monastery, on the side of a hill in Sha Tin. Up the steps, which there were loads of, there were golden buddhas on each side of the path, all in different poses. At the top was the main temple, top to bottom on each wall were thousands of mini buddhas, with a big one in the middle and the gold leaved corpse of some bloke I cant remember. Then onto Chi Lin Nunnery in Diamond Hill. Beautiful temple, shame about the sky scrapers surrounding it. Didn't see any nuns! Then back into town just off Nathan Road, we went to the Yeon Pi Bird Garden/Market, thousands of birds in tiny cages, felt really sorry for them. Then walking back passed through the Flower Market on Flower Market Street, full of orchids & lillies that were about a quid a bunch. This evening were doing a harbour cruise that incorporates a laser show from the tops of the skyscrapers.
