I love Phi Phi! It is the most beautiful island ever! We are staying in Long beach bungalows now, started off with a few nights in Viking bit over budget but had its own little private beach and a free tasting menu every night which we definitely made the most of. Only downside was getting there it was a trechourous climb with a backpack, thankfully I had a surprisingly strong Thai boy who helped me with mine. We are both getting so used to the noise of huge insects in the night I'll have to make a cd for when home so i can sleep!
U-rip is the company to go on a Snorkel trip with, we has so much fun! The guy who took us was such a funny little Thai man, so full of life who laughed hysterically all the time. We got given curry for brekfast but needed it as this guy had tons of energy. First stop was a lagoon with the nicest colour water, then monkey beach to feed them brekfast, Viking cave and for lunch Maya bay aka 'The Beach'. After lunch mosquito island, bamboo island and shark point for lots of snorkelling. The cave snorkel was crazy! He led us to the entrance and we each had to swim through one at a time in wave breaks to be safe. We swam for so long in quite strong currents, I was exhausted when we got back to the boat. He made the trip so memorable and we had big hugs at the end. Hopefully my pictures are safe on my memory card as its RIP Ixus as of today so no more underwater photography for a while :(
Big cockroach flew into the bathroom screeching tonight eurghhhh! We've trapped it under a bucket but can still hear it. Lots of Geckos and a cute toad who couldn't find his way out.
Goodnight from Phi Phi <3
