Here wa are back in Auckland. Our Kiwi experience has come to an end, weve seen and done so many amazing things I cant even remember! We have just spen the last week on the Coromandel, on the East Coast of the North Island, the surf has been pretty much non existent but weve still managed a few waves on 10 foot rental boards!. Randomly bumping into a old friend from Perranporth, Ben, at Hot Water Beach, he introduced us to the Kiwi drinking ways...hmmm...it all ...

Life is sweet! Still buzzing and smiling from doing our skydive, and reckon we will be til we come home! We were pretty unsure wether to do it or not as the money is pretty poor and we were both pretty scared, but you only live once hey! After 3 restless nights sleep today was the day! Just a quickkie! We are back on the north island searching out those waves and have returned to the Tarankai area. We've been getting plenty of water time and turning into shiriveled prunes in the sun so all is good - although, we have been sharing the waves with all of New Zealands pro's as the nationals is on for this week, but we still been doing those random hikes and finding empty left hand points! tis the season to be jolly.... well, the Kiwis dont seem to be jollying themselves with the Christmas spirit like us Brits do, but the rest of the Stanhope crew are nearly here to celebrate the festive season. In an attempt to get into the christmas spirit we rushed around the shops trying to find some last minute pressies, thankfully theres plenty of $2 shops for us in Auckland.
