Arrived in Cuzco early from the start liked the look of the place lots of cobbled narrow streets. Eric gave us a tour of the town lots of incan streets and seems to be lots of stuff to see. Went to a nice bakery for lunch looked round the main plaza. We then went to Qorikancha, Iglesia de Santo Domingo a church built upon an Incan Temple which still had original Incan parts. It was very interesting the gardens were gorgeous. The church had some very stange pictures of child angels with swords and flowers some looked almost Incan (strange thing in a catholic church). That night went to an Argentinain resturant for a steak which was very good.
Next day on our optional sacred valley tour that was not optional got to see our first really impressive Incan ruins. The first ruins were very good but did not have time to appreciate them us had to rush of to lunch. After lunch went to a market not the biggest fan of markets then on to a Incan pub where we tried some stange beer and threw metal coins at a metal frog. Next stop was some more Incan ruins in Ollantaytambo once again very impressive ruins but not enough time we should of started the tour earlier or missed out the market. Next day Inca trail.
